Ragan Buckley, Ph.D. is a patent agent at Thomas Horstemeyer. She has 13 years of experience in patent prosecution and is well-versed in several technology areas, including organic chemistry, catalysis, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, materials science, textiles, and medical devices. She is involved in all aspects of patent prosecution before the United States Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO).

Ragan is a graduate of Harvard University with a concentration in government in 2000 and a graduate of the University of Missouri at Kansas City with a double major in biology and chemistry in 2006. Ragan earned a Ph.D. in chemistry from the Georgia Institute of Technology in 2012.

Ragan’s research at Georgia Tech had an interdisciplinary focus involving separation and analysis of complex mixtures and biophysical characterization of the interaction of small molecules with non-standard DNA.
